Welcome to the OU Women’s Outreach Center’s blog! Here you’ll find information and updates about our upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and outreach projects. Our blogging staff includes student interns and full-time employees.

The Women’s Outreach Center empowers and advocates with and on behalf of women for their safety, wellness and equality. We help all students reach their full potential and explore new perspectives.

*Educate students, especially women, about becoming their own advocates

*Inform students about physical and emotional health issues that disproportionately impact women and impede their ability to access and reach their full potential

*Provide programs and services that address violence against women

*Improve connection between the Women’s Outreach Center and the campus community

*Educate students about the historical struggles of women and the link to current inequalities that women face

The Women’s Outreach Center is a part of Student Life, a division of Student Affairs. The University of Oklahoma is an equal opportunity institution. For accomodations on the basis of disability, call (405) 325-4929 or email woc@ou.edu
